New
Reading Room is Exceptional
Recently,
my husband and I had the privilege of attending the unveiling of the new
reading room at the Central Wisconsin ChildrenÕs Museum. We were blown away! A beautiful room has been created in
memory of Doris C. Nason, donated by her loving children, Chuck and Vikki Nason
and family and Susan and Gordon Schultz and family.
Kent
Youngstrom of kryoutARTS, assisted by Erin Labonte, a senior two-dimension arts
major at UWSP, have painted an amazing reading space that is sure to capture
the imagination of every child and bring a smile of remembrance to every
adult. Kent and Erin have captured
the essence of so many favorite stories that we all know and love from ÒTe
Giving TreeÓ to ÒWhere the Wild Things AreÓÉ
We are
very fortunate as a community to have the special creative talents of people
like kenT Youngstrom and Tiffany Wilhelm, ChildrenÕs Museum executive director,
as well as the generosity of families like the Nasons. I encourage everyone to come explore
the Central Wisconsin ChildrenÕs Museum.
I can hardly wait to see what they come up with next.
